Winter Rocks!


Hello, yes, it is that time of year again.
Craftcamp has 4 days with 7 workshops full of fun and making.

Rock n Roll // Music loving Softies - Make a softie, its instrument and join the Softie Rock Band!

Original Softies - make a friend or a gift

Miniature or wearable sculpture workshops - Using found materials from my stash, lets make some mini masterpieces to wear or display. [no sewing]

Paper Sculpture Workshop - Using my exhibition at the City Gallery [What lies beneath, July 2-31] as an inspiration starting point. Lets make some paper geometric sculptures.

**New, Full day workshop - Large Softies/Rag Doll workshop- Make a large softie or Rag Doll with Limbs and Hair and maybe an outfit.
The bulk of the sewing will be done by hand, but I will also bring my sewing machine to help things along.

*All workshops use reclaimed/repurposed materials from home, local businesses and industry.

ABOUT CRAFTCAMP

Craftcamp is a creative collective established in 2002 by Gabby O’Connor and Genevieve Packer. Together they have years of experience teaching art and design at both university level as well as running successful school holiday workshops for the Wellington City Gallery. They both have strong and

diverse practices, including creating products, experimental works, and exhibiting both within NZ and internationally. They love to make stuff - let them show you how!
